An investment banking professional with 30+ years of experience, having worked for financial institutions such as JP Morgan Chase, Societe Generale, Standard Chartered Bank, ANZ Bank and Royal Bank of Canada. Mr Cooper currently sits on various Boards as an executive or non-executive Director. Based in Singapore with various business interests in Singapore, Australia, Canada and Hong Kong, Mr Cooper has a global perspective. Having a career that spans the spectrum of investment banking activity with specific experience in debt products, capital raising, M&A activity along with strong credentials in Corporate and Financial Governance issues. Experience areas cover origination of debt products (including leveraged, project, export and commodity finance and mezzanine debt), Relationship Management, Portfolio Management (primarily structured credit) along with M&A/Private Equity experience.

Mark Robert Haines has over 30 years of Management, M&A, Business Development, Contract Negotiation and Corporate Finance experience primarily in the Maritime, Shipping & Transport and Commodity industries. Mark has lived and worked in Singapore for over 13 years and was previously based in both London and New York. He has diverse deal experience and has closed high value transactions in Africa, Asia, Europe, and N America. He has been on both sides of the table: as a banker with Lazard, JP Morgan and DVB, and as Managing Director of Petredec, the largest gas trader and gas carrier operator globally. Recent mandates include advising a private Asian Maritime group regarding debt restructuring, Macquarie Group in the development of a ship finance business, a private shipowner regarding merger and equity raising, and an SGX-listed company regarding a restructure and debt and equity raising alternatives.
Cory Gelmon, Director Consulting

A corporate/commercial lawyer for over 30 years, involved with various business enterprises in both public and privately held companies in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and Asia. Mr. Gelmon was also one of the founders of Domino’s Pizza of Canada Ltd., and was a director of FSA authorized Talisman Asset Management Limited in London before becoming involved with a series of workouts as court appointed Chief Restructuring Officer for various enterprises that were in financial distress. In addition to being a part of Icon Financial Pte. Ltd., Mr. Gelmon is also currently involved with a Singapore based IT company offering software as a service in the medical imaging field and still maintains his active status as a practicing Barrister and Solicitor in the Province of Alberta, Canada.

Stephen Li was most recently the CEO of OMD Asia Pacific. Throughout his career, Stephen has established a reputation of delivering profitability, efficiency and building a culture of positive change within the industry.
